A British Bitcoin investor has successfully recovered 61 BTC after a 12-year period without access to the assets.
The individual had originally invested approximately £1,500 via the now-defunct Intersango exchange in 2011.
Following the verification of ownership with legal assistance, the full amount of 61 BTC was retrieved in May 2026, representing a value of approximately £3.33 million at that time.
