🇺🇸 Six people have been shot in downtown Minneapolis, including two police officers, near 15 E. Grant St. by the Minneapolis Convention Center and Loring Park.
A major law-enforcement response is underway and the public has been told to avoid the area. Minnesota state personnel are assisting local authorities.
A University of St. Thomas emergency alert says a shooter was located and one person is in custody. The officers’ conditions, motive and any fatalities have not yet been officially confirmed.
