🇷🇺✈️ An assassination attempt was carried out on Russian Major General Nikolai Varpakovich in the Saratov region.
On the morning of September 3, an unknown attacker ambushed the commander of the 22nd Heavy Bomber Division of the Russian Aerospace Forces near a private house in the village of Probuzhdeniye.
The general was shot twice, in the head and in the stomach, and is in critical condition.
The attacker fled the scene and has not been caught.
The 22nd Division is a Russian long-range aviation unit equipped with strategic bombers.
