I don’t expect any of you to retweet this, because like most of what I post, it’s spicy, but those of you who are the early warriors understand where this is coming from.

I wrote this “Covid Truth Late Arrivals Pledge” several years ago when I noticed that late arrivals were being pushed into positions of authority, while the early fighters continued to suffer. Humanity owes an immense debt of gratitude to those of us who stood in the flames when it was most dangerous to do so. That being said, the only way to grow the movement is to welcome those who may have been weak, or misinformed, even a moment prior to coming to the right side of history.
….
The Covid Truth Late Arrivals’ Pledge to Defend Truth, Liberty, and Humanity
We the undersigned, acknowledge that our flawed judgment in the Covid era resulted in unnecessary, wide scale harms; in the form of psychological, physical, and financial suffering, as well as death. The consequences of our actions and inactions will not fully be known for years, perhaps generations, as those who were on the right side of this issue have warned us. We will find a way to share the painful burden we helped inflict on humanity, and if the people demand it, accept justice for our actions and/or inactions.
We come humbly to the right side with sincere regret for our various failings: lack of critical thinking, disregard for basic human rights, disregard for established science in the face of political pressure, prioritization of profit over principle, deference to authority, weak spiritual character, and fear.
It is the brave thinkers who are the heroes of this era, I am not one. They defended individual liberty, my actions abridged it. Those who risked everything to speak unpopular, essential truth deserve all praise. They were silenced, fired, castigated, ridiculed; quite simply, they caught the arrows and stood in the flames, for all of us. Their fortitude cast a light on our cowardice, and we, the late arrivals, will never consider ourselves heroes of this era, rather, we are now humble servants of those who led the way. We vow to never again make the mistakes we made before.
We have now seen clearly what we have done, what is at stake if actions such as ours continue, and acknowledge that we don’t yet know the horrors that will unfold as a result of our failing to: consider opposing viewpoints, allow open debate, provide prophylaxis/early treatment guidance, provide true informed consent, offer risk benefit analysis, question the necessity of unproven medical interventions, question the single, self declared voice of science, defend liberty, and most important, think critically.
With humble regret, and a promise to support the medical freedom movement without accepting praise, we the undersigned acknowledge that science dies in silence, and we will never allow such darkness to suppress humanity again.

This pledge is offered to the covid truth late arrivals, hoping that the next time duty calls, they will stand strong early, when it matters most.
