In Vietnam, a legal cryptocurrency market is about to launch
Five companies have already passed the first selection stage to launch licensed cryptocurrency exchanges according to information. No license has been issued yet.
Starting from September 1, fines of up to 50 million dong (~$1900) will be imposed for violations in cryptocurrency trading. However, investors will not be immediately fined for using unlicensed platforms.
Trading in Vietnam will only be allowed through licensed platforms six months after the first license is issued.
