Faith in the unseen

Memory Verse: Hebrews 11:1
Scriptures define faith as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen and without faith it is impossible to please God. Through faith Abraham received his promise of a son and we are the beneficiaries of that promise because if we also believe in God's promises in Christ Jesus we become children of Abraham. There are times when our faith like that of Peter's may shake and doubt may come but what is most important is knowing that He that has promised us is faithful and there is no deceit found in Him. Therefore we can trust that he is able to deliver us in all circumstances and keep his promise to us.
Prayer:
Our heavenly Father, we come before you in humility. we thank you for the cross and for the empty tomb. We pray father that give us faith that can move mountains and faith that can withstand every storm we face in our lives. Even so we believe that we have received this in Jesus' name Amen.
