God's Treasured Possesion

Memory Verse: Exodus 19:5
Here in Exodus, God promised the Israelites that if they obey Him fully and keep His covenant that they were going to be His treasured possession. And today God makes this same promise to us, Jesus declared that if we love him we should keep his commands. Therefore we see that obedience to God is closely tied to love for Him. And this is his command, that we should believe in the name of His son, Jesus Christ and we should love one another just as he loved us.
I don't know about you but I would want to be God's special possession among all creation. Let us put aside every distraction and focus on Jesus and obey his word so that we may be counted as blessed and become vessels of Honor suitable for every good work in the kingdom.
Prayer:
Our heavenly Father, we come before you in humility. we thank you for the cross and for the empty tomb. May we learn to obey you through the power of the Holy spirit. Even as we go about our day may we be led by your Holy Spirit for your word says, they that are led by the spirit are sons of God. We thank you for making us your treasure in Christ Jesus, Amen.
