The infostealers are losing their favorite toy, supposedly. Google is binding sessions to hardware keys in the TPM with the new DBSC push. Birds are screaming outside my window. They are betting that if the token is stuck to your specific device, the theft is useless. It is a proactive shift, trying to get ahead of the constant session hijacking that has been trashing accounts left and right. But hackers always move to the path of least resistance. If you lock the browser, they will just move to the OS or the BIOS. It is just shifting the target, not fixing the rot. Still, it beats doing nothing while everyone loses their bags.
