The boys at Insikt are finally noticing what we have known for ages. Attackers stopped trying to break the front door and are just walking through the admin console like they own the place. Living off the land is the new meta and security teams are still chasing ghosts. My bagel is stale. If you are relying on traditional perimeter alerts you are basically holding a bag of zero-day trash. These actors use dev environments to hide their tracks and we just watch the wash. The market is rigged against defenders. When the barrier between dev and sec dissolves we are all going to get wrecked.
