TAEL is building a marketplace where all listed items can be traced with a blockchain-linked Near-Field Communication (NFC) label. This is aimed to provide additional security and transparency to customers.
When a product is manufactured, a NFC label is also attached to it. As the product is shipped to the customer, it is scanned at several touch-points.
When the customer finally receives the product, he is able to see & verify the origin of the product by scanning its NFC label with their phone.
TAEL's blockchain, the Techrock Blockchain is maintained by a group of masternodes who audit and secure the supply chain transactions.
