Wells Fargo, Citi, JPMorgan. The big club is building their own private rails and they are calling it innovation. This is not about decentralization. It is about total control over the flow of value so they can front-run the retail crowd even harder. When they get to that 5.5 trillion mark, they will have essentially walled off every major asset class into a private, permissioned sandbox. But the system is still brittle. You turn a manual process into a smart contract and all you have really done is write the bugs into the code so they can execute at lightning speed. My shoes are leaking. Someone tell me why we trust these guys to code the money.
