A key limitation of Greece’s €3 billion Achilles’ Shield agreement… — Clash Report — TG.ME

A key limitation of Greece’s €3 billion Achilles’ Shield agreement with Israel is that Greece will not receive the source code for the command-and-control (C2) systems.

Moshe Patel, head of Israel’s Missile Defense Organization, said source-code access was not included in the licensing agreement, despite Athens’ interest in maintaining control over the software architecture of the new air-defense network.

Israel will instead provide ongoing support, maintenance and future technical assistance.

This means Greece will operate the Spyder, Barak MX and David’s Sling systems without full access to the underlying proprietary software controlling them.
