We hope this message finds you and your loved ones well and that you are enjoying a restful summer break.
As we look forward to welcoming our returning families and those joining Cambridge Academy Ethiopia for the first time, we are delighted to announce the start of the 2026–2027 academic year.
The new academic year will begin on Monday, 24 August 2026.
The start of a new academic year is always a special moment in the life of our school community—a time to reconnect with old friends, welcome new faces and begin another exciting journey of learning, growth and achievement. We are deeply grateful for the trust you place in us and remain committed to providing every student with a safe, supportive and inspiring environment in which to thrive.
School Day Timings
Please take note of the school day timings for each section:
· Nursery, FS1 and FS2: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
· Primary School (Years 1–6): 8:00 am – 3:30 pm
· Secondary School (Years 7–13): 8:00 am – 3:30 pm
Please ensure that your child arrives on time and is ready for a positive and exciting first day. Our staff will be available to welcome students, provide guidance and ensure that everyone feels safe, supported and comfortable as they settle into the new academic year.
New Student and Family Orientation
Our new students and their families are warmly invited to join us for an orientation session on Friday, 21 August 2026 from 8.30 a.m. in the morning to 12.00 noon.
The orientation will provide an opportunity for new families to become familiar with the school, meet key members of staff and receive important information to help ensure a smooth and successful transition into Cambridge Academy Ethiopia.
The first day of school is more than the beginning of another academic year—it is the start of new opportunities, friendships, discoveries and achievements. With your continued partnership and support, we are confident that 2026–2027 will be an outstanding year for the entire Cambridge Academy Ethiopia community.
We cannot wait to welcome our students back to campus on Monday, 24 August 2026—smiling, curious and ready to learn, grow and shine.
