Boycott is not merely about what one refuses to buy; it is about what one chooses to support.
Economic choices are never entirely neutral.
Every purchase can strengthen a business, sustain a market, or contribute to a wider economic system.
In times of aggression and injustice, consumers have the power to make their spending a moral statement.
Boycott is a form of RESISTANCE; it requires neither wealth nor political office—only conviction and consistency.
The Qur’an says:
“Nor do they take a step that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they gain any gain from an enemy, but it is recorded for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow the reward of the doers of good to be lost.”
Qur’an 9:120
The principle is simple: do not knowingly strengthen what you believe contributes to injustice when many alternatives are available.
