NEW: Dutch authorities have concluded their initial procedures following Ratko Mladić’s death, confirming that no criminal investigation will be opened and no autopsy will be conducted.
Separately, the UN International Residual Mechanism is continuing its own inquiry into the circumstances of his death. The Mechanism remains in contact with Mladić’s family over the transfer of his remains but has not said when the body will be released, leaving funeral arrangements in Serbia pending.
