so i was planning to build a centralized website for all tech related events since announcements are scattered everywhere but without an easy way to scrape telegram channels, manual entry is not sustainable, and asking organizers to add a custom bot to their channels isn't realistic ( yet! )
So i decided to create another telegram channel ( ik ik በእንቅርት ላይ ጆሮ ደግፍ 😂) .. wait trust the process i am basically thinking of building the audience first
first start a curated Telegram channel (and maybe a tiktok page) where i manually post tech related event roundups. once there is solid traction and trust, transition organizers to submitting tech events directly or adding an aggregator bot anddd eventually launch the full website backed by an existing community.
What do you guys think? Is there a cleaner approach to solving the discovery problem?
