HI5 #5 presents works by Ukrainian artists Elizaveta Bogachova and Valeriia Osina.
IRREVERSIBILITY brings together two perspectives on living through instability — one through water, territory, and displacement; the other through the intimate space of home, reshaped by war.
Random Waters, a project by Elizaveta Bogachova, turns water into both subject and metaphor — fluid and free, yet regulated, bordered, and militarised. Photographic images transferred onto stone reflect on distance, memory, and the tension between movement and containment.
In dialogue, the work of Valeriia Osina traces how history enters everyday life — domestic space transformed, routines adapted, and uncertainty woven into ordinary objects and gestures. Home becomes not a refuge, but a space that is constantly renegotiated.
Together, the two projects explore how war reshapes place, routine, and belonging — externally and internally, through landscape and interior, history and lived experience.
