“ከእንግዲህ ወዲህ በጌታ የሚሞቱ ሙታን ብፁዓን ናቸው።” ራዕይ ፲፬፥፲፫
ከቀናት በፊት በደብረ ምጥማቅ ጻድቃኔ ቅድስት ማርያም ገዳም በተከሰተው ድንገተኛ የመሬት መንሸራተት አደጋ ለጠበል ፣ ለሱባኤና ለመሳለም ከተለያዩ አካባቢዎች በተሰበሰቡ የመንፈስ ቅዱስ ልጆቻችላ ላይ በደረሰው ድንገተኛ አደጋ የተሰማንን ጥልቅ ሀዘን በሀገረ ስብከታችንና በደቡብና ምዕራብ አፍሪካ በሚገኙ ካህናትና ምእመናን ስም እንገልጻለን።
በአደጋው ሕይወታቸውን ላጡ ወገኖች ቤተሰቦች እግዚአብሔር መንፈስ ቅዱስ መጽናናትን እንዲሰጥ እየተመኘን ጉዳት ደርሶባቸው በሕክምና ላይ ለሚገኙትም አምላከ ቅዱሳን ፈውስን ይላክላቸው።
ለብፁዕ አቡነ ቀሌምንጦስ የሰሜን ሸዋ ሀገረ ስብከት ሊቀ ጳጳስ፣ ለተጎጂ ወገኖች እና ለመላው የአካባቢው ምእመናን ጽናትን ይስጥልን።
ነፍሳተ ሙታንን ይማርልን ! እግዚአብሔር ያዘኑትን ያረጋጋ !
ሀገራችንንና ሕዝባችንን ይጠብቅ !

A few days ago, a sudden landslide occurred at Debre Mitmaq Tsadqane Kidist Mariam Monastery. We express our profound sorrow, on behalf of our Diocese and the clergy and faithful of South and West Africa, over the tragic accident that claimed the lives of children of the Holy Spirit who had gathered from various places for holy water, spiritual retreat (subae), and pilgrimage.
As we pray that God the Holy Spirit may grant comfort to the families of those who lost their lives in this tragedy, we also pray that the God of the saints may send healing to those who were injured and are receiving medical treatment.
May God grant strength to His Eminence Abune Qelemintos, Archbishop of the North Shewa Diocese, to the affected families, and to all the faithful in the surrounding area.
May God have mercy on the souls of the departed.
May God comfort those who mourn.
