⚖️ Ireland Seizes Another $38M in Bitcoin From Drug Dealer
Ireland's Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) has moved another 500 BTC — worth approximately $38 million — linked to cannabis dealer Clifton Collins. Blockchain data shows the transfer came from a cluster of old unspent transaction outputs (UTXOs) belonging to Collins, and marks what appears to be the fourth such recovery to date.
Collins famously lost access to his crypto after hiding a fishing rod containing a hardware wallet, which was later discarded. The CAB has been recovering the funds in stages as authorities work through the holdings.
