NY: Gov. Hochul faces backlash and mockery after wearing headscarf during appearance at Islamic Center

New York Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul drew criticism from Republicans and conservative commentators after wearing a headscarf during a visit to the Islamic Cultural Center of New York.

Addressing congregants during a Friday "Jummah" prayer service, the Democrat governor thanked attendees, including Ambassador Tareq Albanai, Kuwait's permanent representative to the United Nations (UN), expressing gratitude to be welcomed into the Islamic community.

Although Hochul framed her head covering as a "standard gesture of respect" inside the mosque's prayer hall, many criticized the display as overt political pandering...

"...overt political pandering..." Yes, definitely. Shame OANN never raised an eyebrow for all the jew shilling and all the politicians wearing kippas and kissing that dumb wall as if their careers depended on it. Almost like they do.
