قيل لأحمد بن حنبل رحمه الله تعالى: الرجل يصوم ويصلي ويعتكف أحب إليك أو يتكلم في أهل البدع؟ فقال: (إن صام وصلى واعتكف فإنما هو لنفسه، وإذا تكلم في أهل البدع فإنما هو للمسلمين، هذا أفضل
