⚠️ UPDATE: 7TH AND 8TH ABSENTEEISM MEETINGS ⚠️

Here are the updates of the last two absenteeism meetings held on August 13 and 20:

🍲 Change from Meal Allowance to Meal Vouchers

On August 13, the Company maintained the proposal for this change arguing it, again, as a measure against absenteeism.

The Works Council rejected it and asked again for an increase in Meal Allowance. The Company did not address it again on August 20.

🟢 From Fetico we absolutely refuse to lose purchasing power on our payroll and sacrifice that amount during holidays and leaves.

🖥️ WFH Allowance

Initially, the Company offered €12 per month on August 13; the Council pushed for €25 and, on August 20, the Company accepted adjusting it to €18. The Council now stands at requesting €20, a more realistic figure considering current living costs.

🟢 Despite that, in Fetico we want to keep fighting for a higher amount that benefits and meets all workers' needs.

🕘 Flexibility in breaks

Agreement on the possibility to extend lunch break to 2 hours; on August 20, the Company determines that this modification should be noticed at least 3 working days in advance.

In the last meeting, both the Company and the Council agreed on restricting this adjustment to business needs. But some exceptions might be considered as well, depending on the situation.

🕵️‍♀️ Absenteeism Monitoring Commission: the Company accepts to create a specific team with the Council to review the absenteeism situation; they will meet every six months. On August 20, they added that every quarter they will share with the whole Council the latest absenteeism data.

🟢 Fetico proposes a realistic target of absenteeism in our site to get the benefits back with an end goal of 10% to recover the full complement.

The Company still deems this target not low enough.

💶 Sick Leave Complement

🟢 Fetico's current proposal is, counting from the day on which the agreement is signed:

- Absenteeism is higher than 14%: first 3 leaves fully paid. From the 4th, first 3 days not fully covered.

- Absenteeism between 14% and 10%: first 3 leaves fully paid. From the 4th, first 2 days not fully covered.

- Once the absenteeism reaches 10% or lower, every sick leave is fully paid.

Each step will be applied yearly, according to the rate at the moment of the review.

🏥 The Company will study this proposal and aligns with the retail agreement to cover 100% of hospitalizations, chemotherapy and dialysis.

🟢 From Fetico we consider it is essential to defend vulnerable groups and that is why we reiterate the importance of maintaining the supplement in 100% of the leaves of people with chronic diseases.

⚠️ New S3 position

The Works Council asked for more time to analyze the situation; the Company explained that up to 40% of people who meet the requirements of the application to S3 will be able to obtain the position after passing through the selection process.

🔥As the negotiation is coming closer to the end, Fetico keeps fighting to make your voice be heard and to put the employees' needs first.
