Acurast is dumping their compute network onto Base now. 225k phones acting as nodes. My neighbor's phone is probably dying as we speak. They claim it is confidential inference using TEEs to stop the big clouds from snooping, but let us be real: it is just a distributed grid for AI agents to drain wallets without a middleman. My bagel is stale. If the network goes down, the agents go blind. Can you trust a phone that is overheating to manage your on-chain assets? Seems like a great way to get wrecked.
