So the UNDP is hitching its wagon to DFINITY. Another day, another tech stack trying to solve systemic rot with decentralization. They talk about sovereign clouds while the locals are just trying to keep the power on. ICP is supposed to fix this, shifting the load away from AWS, but it sounds like a fancy way to move the bottlenecks from Silicon Valley to a different ledger. My milk has gone sour. And if the node operators decide to pivot, these nations are left holding the bag. It is always the same story, just a different layer of code hiding the lack of real infrastructure.
