Call for Applications: SheCodes360: Empowering the Next Women Startup Founders
The Ministry of Innovation and Technology, in collaboration with STEMpower Inc. and the Embassy of Finland in Addis Ababa, invites ambitious young women to apply for the SheCodes360 Program—a startup founder creation and entrepreneurship initiative designed to transform innovative ideas into scalable businesses.
Whether you have a business idea or are ready to build one, SheCodes360 will equip you with the knowledge, practical skills, mentorship, and innovation support needed to launch your startup and become a successful entrepreneur.
What the Program Offers
Participants will receive intensive, hands-on training in:
• Startup Ideation and Innovation – Identify problems, validate opportunities, and develop innovative business solutions.
• Digital Skills – Digital Marketing, Electronics, and Coding Fundamentals.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity – Leverage emerging technologies to build competitive startups.
• Entrepreneurship and Business Development – Design scalable business models, develop products, and prepare for market entry. .
• Mentorship and Prototyping Support – Access expert mentors and the STEMpower FabLab and MInT Innobiz-K Incubation center maker space to transform ideas into prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs).
• Pitching and Investor Readiness – Learn how to effectively present your startup to investors, incubators, and partners.
Who Can Apply?
• Are 18–35 years old.
• Have an innovative idea or a passion for building a startup business.
• Are motivated to become startup founders and future business leaders.
• Can commit to participating throughout the entire program.
Women from underserved and underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
