🔥 We Did Not Come Here to Lose
An observation I’ve made lately is that we are living through a period that is revealing the difference between having faith and learning how to have faith.
When things don’t move fast enough, when life doesn’t unfold on our terms or according to our timeline, it’s easy to become frustrated. It’s easy to get angry, blame others, question everything, or simply want to give up.
But when you carry a firm belief that there is a higher plan unfolding, something changes. You begin to rise above the noise of the storyline. You stop measuring everything by what is happening in this exact moment, and you start trusting that even the difficult chapters have a purpose.
That doesn’t mean there won’t be storms. It doesn’t mean we won’t have moments where we feel exhausted, confused, scared, or completely overwhelmed. Those moments are part of the journey too. They teach us what we are made of.
Think about how many times in your life you’ve said, “I can’t do this. It’s impossible. I’m too scared. I don’t know how I’m going to make it through.”
And yet... here you are.
Still standing. Still living. Still breathing.
There was a time when I would become frustrated with people who lost their way. Now I can look back and see myself in their shoes. Lost. Afraid. Confused. Exhausted. Trying to understand something that felt much bigger than me.
I still have moments when I question things. I still have moments when I feel weak. Sometimes I become quiet and simply observe more deeply. I watch the storyline. I watch for the markers. I pay attention to what is changing beneath the surface.
Faith doesn’t mean never questioning. Faith means that somewhere beneath the questioning, you still trust.
So for anyone feeling scared or lost right now, I ask you this...
Do you really believe we came here to lose?
Or did we come here to grow, expand, remember, and become something greater than we were before?
Maybe this entire storyline is eventually leading a deeply divided world toward remembering how connected we really are. Maybe the discomfort is part of what finally forces humanity to look at itself differently.
So relax a little and enjoy the ride. It may get bumpy. Real transformation usually is.
The biggest changes in our lives rarely come from the comfortable moments. They come from the moments that shake us, stretch us, humble us, and wake us up.
And as strange as it may sound, I’m excited for what is coming.
Will it be easy? Not necessarily.
But sometimes something has to shake us awake before we finally remember who we are.
