This week alone, Russia has launched almost 2,000 strike drones, more than 1,600 guided aerial bombs and 31 missiles of various types, including North Korean ballistic missiles, against Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
“Work continues in the village of Myla in the Kyiv region to eliminate the consequences of the Russian strike. Rescuers have managed to extinguish most of the fires. Pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service are also working around the clock at the site, detecting and neutralizing explosive objects. The scale of contamination across the territory is significant, and this work will continue for as long as necessary.
“Unfortunately, 38 people are known to have been killed in the strike and subsequent detonations. My condolences to their relatives and loved ones. Twenty people were injured, including two children. Four people remain missing, and the search for them is ongoing. I am grateful to all the services that continue to be there for people and provide assistance.
“These days, there have also been many air raid alerts in Kyiv and other regions due to Russian jet drones. Unfortunately, residential buildings and civilian infrastructure have been hit. Providing greater protection from Russian terror is a priority.
“Front-line and border communities are under attack around the clock: Nikopol, Kramatorsk, Kherson, and communities in the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Sumy regions. We are seeking a fair response to every Russian attack and crime. It will definitely come.
