Yatreda (ያጥሬዳ) is an Ethiopian family art collective led by Kiya Tadele.
Working in the spirit of tizita (nostalgia), they handmake traditional outfits and film these insane 360 degree motion portraits that bring ancestral history, traditional hairstyles, and African legends straight into the digital age.
From Kingdoms of Ethiopia all the way to Digital Nefse, they’ve put out around 12 major collections and every single one is honestly breathtaking.
