Today, we pause to remember. We hold close in our hearts all those we have lost, the families who carry their memories, and the community that continues to heal together.
Three years after devastating wildfires swept through Lahaina and parts of Upcountry Maui, the Hawaiʻi Department of Health continues to support the health and recovery of Maui communities through behavioral health services and partnerships with community organizations.
Over the past three years, we’ve witnessed incredible strength, generosity, and resilience throughout Maui.
Three years later, the grief remains. The love remains. And so does the strength, courage, and deep connection of this community.
May we continue to honor those we lost, care for those still healing, and stand together for the future of Lahaina.🙏🏻❤️
