The NIA has chargesheeted US citizen Matthew Aaron VanDyke and six Ukrainian nationals over an alleged Myanmar-linked terror conspiracy.
The accused allegedly crossed from Mizoram into Myanmar, received training from ethnic armed groups, trained insurgent-linked groups in India, and facilitated the movement of drones from Europe to Myanmar via India.
The chargesheet invokes Sections 21 and 23 of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025. No UAPA sections have been invoked at this stage. The investigation continues.
