🇮🇳 On 15 August 2026, the GOI is organizing various programs with the Independence Day focus Yuva Shakti for Viksit Bharat@2047
🇮🇳 It reflects the government's vision to transform India into a developed nation by 2047.
🇮🇳This day is celebrated to remember the struggle that the freedom fighters fought to achieve the independence of our country.
🇮🇳 Due to this long struggle by our ancestors, India became a sovereign and democratic nation.
🇮🇳 It was on 15th August 1947 that India was declared independent from British colonialism. British rule in India began in the year 1757, when the English East India Company began to exercise its control over the subcontinent.
🇮🇳Mountbatten decided to grant independence on 15 August 1947.
🇮🇳 Har Ghar Tiranga campaign continues with new initiatives in 2025.
🇮🇳 ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ Campaign To Be Launched In Run-Up To Independence Day
