Ford is preparing an extreme version of the Mustang Baja – essentially a crossover built from the iconic sports car.
The car will retain its familiar body shape, but will feature long-travel suspension, off-road tires, and serious underbody protection. The idea is similar to the Porsche 911 Dakar and the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato – a supercar that doesn't need perfect asphalt.
At the same time, Ford is also developing a Mustang Mach-E sedan that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 4 seconds.
