Why solar eclipse is not caused by the Moon
1. The heliocentric model utterly fails to explain solar eclipses mathematically as well as empirically. This proves that solar eclipse is not caused by the Moon.

2. According to the heliocentric model, a new moon phase occurs when the moon comes between the Earth and the sun. The same explanation goes for a solar eclipse. So if this is true, then there should be a solar eclipse on every new moon. This does not happen in reality, which proves that the solar eclipse is not caused by the moon.
3. On many occasions we can see the moon during the day, but mysteriously the moon remains invisible before and after a solar eclipse. This means that the moon is not in between the earth and the sun during the new moon phase. Hence the occultation cannot be caused the Moon.
4. As we know, the globe earth's supposed 'axial tilt' of 23.4° is merely the inclination angle of the sun's conical circuit above the flat earth plane.

The moon follows the similar conical circuit as the Sun. But the the inclination of the Moon's conical circuit is steeper than the Sun at 28.55° (23.4°+ 5.15°) with respect to the Earth's plane. Hence the moon has a bigger conical circuit that encompasses the Sun's conical circuit which reaches upto +/- 28.8° N/S latitudes beyond the tropic of Cancer and Capricorn. This means the moon always circuits either behind (in outer circuit) or above (at higher altitude) the Sun. Geometrically the Moon does not come into perfect 180° alignment with the Sun, when observed from the Earth. During the new moon it remains behind the Sun at higher altitude. This simply means the moon doesn't cause a solar eclipse.
5. Scientists say ‘earthshine’ is much brighter than ‘moonshine’. And according to our understanding the earth is enormous in comparison to the size of the moon. So if the moonshine can completely illuminate the earth on a full moon night then the earthshine (min 50 times brighter) shall completely illuminate the moon during the solar eclipse. But in reality we see a completely black circular object occulting the Sun which does not reflect/re-emit light at all, indicating presence of a dark body other than the moon.
6. According to Indian Vedic Astronomy, the most ancient and accurate system of astronomy on the planet, solar eclipses are not caused by the Moon coming in front of the Sun as astronomers believe. Rather the Moon is described as being further away than the Sun. And at the time of a solar eclipse the Moon goes behind the Sun and a dark/shadow planet called "Rahu" comes in between the Sun and the Earth. Similarly the lunar eclipse is caused by "Ketu" and not by the Earth's shadow. We can find mentions of Rahu & Ketu (with different names) in ancient Burmese, Indonesian, Chinese and Japanese astronomy.
