💎 Is Telegram preparing Gram Wallet for blockages?

Telegram Desktop developer John Preston published tproxy-server, an experimental Web proxy for Telegram. He says it is only a proof of concept, but the idea is easy to read: make Telegram traffic look like normal HTTPS activity while keeping the MTProxy logic underneath.

🔝 What changed

⚫️ John Preston published an experimental Web proxy for Telegram
⚫️ The project is called tproxy-server
⚫️ It routes Telegram traffic through a WebView-style transport
⚫️ On the server side, traffic is passed to a regular MTProxy
⚫️ The author directly says this is not a finished product yet
⚫️ The documentation describes the idea as a way to hide proxy access behind normal web traffic

🔝 Why it matters

⚫️ This looks like anti-blocking research, not just a random developer toy
⚫️ Telegram has already lived through bans, proxy wars and domain-level pressure
⚫️ With Gram Wallet moving directly into Telegram, access to the messenger also becomes access to wallet infrastructure
⚫️ If governments try to block Telegram or its crypto features, proxy layers become much more important
⚫️ For TON, this is not only about chats anymore, but about keeping payments reachable

Telegram is putting Gram Wallet inside the app and testing ways to make Telegram traffic harder to block. Maybe it is just a PoC. Or maybe Telegram is making sure its wallet does not get killed by the first firewall with ambition.
