💎 Telegram tests a new way around blocks

Telegram is testing a new anti-blocking route: MTProxy traffic can be carried through HTTPS/WebSocket, making it look much closer to ordinary web traffic. The domain can still work like a normal website, while the proxy part only opens for the Telegram client after verification.

🔝 What changed

⚫️ Telegram Desktop is preparing a new WEB Proxy mode
⚫️ MTProxy traffic is transported through HTTPS/WebSocket
⚫️ To the outside, the connection looks like regular web activity
⚫️ The same domain can host a normal website
⚫️ The proxy bridge activates only for the Telegram client after capability verification
⚫️ The relay forwards the encrypted stream further without reading it or knowing the final destination

🔝 Why it matters

⚫️ Blocking this cleanly becomes much harder than killing a visible proxy endpoint
⚫️ A domain can look harmless to everyone except the Telegram client
⚫️ For regulators and firewalls, that creates a messier target
⚫️ For Telegram, this is another step toward keeping access alive under pressure
⚫️ For TON and Gram Wallet, the logic is obvious: if the wallet lives inside Telegram, Telegram connectivity becomes wallet connectivity too

The catch is still there: users need their own domain, server and secret key. But the direction is clear. Telegram is not only building crypto inside the app — it is also testing how to keep the app reachable when someone decides to play firewall boss.
