Pavel Durov has been added to Russia’s list of terrorists and extremists. This follows the case around the Telegram dating bot “Daivinchik”, which had already led Russian authorities to place Telegram’s founder on the international wanted list.
For Telegram, this is no longer just a moderation dispute, but personal pressure on Durov. For TON, it is not a direct hit formally, but the market will still read it through the figure of the main person around the ecosystem.
Daivinchik started as a dating bot and somehow became part of a story where Telegram is once again facing Russian registries, criminal charges and very nervous politics.
