Fishing in Stranded Isle - How Does It Work?

We're excited to finally share how the new fishing system will work in one of the upcoming updates!

To start fishing, you'll first need a fishing rod. With the rod equipped, approach a suitable body of water. Make sure there are no obstacles between you and the water, stand at the same level as the shoreline, and interact while holding the fishing rod to cast your line.

Once the hook lands in the water, all that's left is to wait. After a random amount of time, a fish may become interested in your bait. You'll notice the float bobbing on the surface - that's your signal that the real challenge is about to begin.

Once a fish bites, the fight starts. On-screen controls will appear, and you'll need to battle the fish to bring it in. The fish will constantly change direction, trying to swim farther away or pull to the sides, while your goal is to keep it under control and gradually reel it in.

Use the left and right controls to counter the fish's movements, and use the reel-in button to slowly bring it closer. If the fish manages to get too far away or pulls too far to either side, it will escape. But if you can keep it under control and reel it in close enough, the catch will be yours.

We wanted fishing to be more than just waiting for a timer, so we've turned it into an interactive mini-game where success depends on your timing and skill.
