eps is dead. They finally admitted it. It was always a joke anyway just a way to massage the numbers until they look pretty for the retail crowd. I need a stronger espresso. Now they want to see actual cash flows because they are terrified of the ai burn rate. If these companies cannot turn those massive servers into actual greenbacks instead of just accounting magic they are going to get slaughtered. The market is rigged but at least the metrics are getting a bit more honest now. It is all fun and games until the interest rates force you to show a real profit instead of hiding debt in the basement.
