Update on the Binance delisting of SCRT
Binance has announced it will delist $SCRT as of 2026-09-03. Here is what it means and what happens next:
If you hold SCRT on Binance: withdraw to a self-custody wallet such as Keplr before the withdrawal deadline. Your tokens on-chain are unaffected — the Secret L1 is live, secure, and actively validated.
If you need help withdrawing $SCRT refer to this guide here.

How we got here.
Exchanges reassess listings during periods of major change, and Secret has seen more change in three months than most networks see in years: a $4.67M bridge exploit in June, the departure of the original development company, a rejected migration proposal, and a community restructuring that passed with 94.8% of voting power participating. We kept Binance's teams informed throughout, including where our timelines ran shorter than their standard notice windows. This was a risk decision made within their framework. We respect it, and we thank Binance and our other exchange partners for years of access and liquidity.
What changes now.
Nothing about the network's operation. The Secret³ proposal passed; the chain is under community stewardship with a new core development team, a remediation program for exploit victims moving forward on schedule, and restructured economics built for the long term. Those are also the things exchange risk teams evaluate, so the path forward is the one we're already on: sustained uptime, delivered remediation, transparent governance, and published treasury reporting. We are in contact with exchange partners and will share confirmed developments as they come.
A delisting is a setback. It changes where SCRT trades, not what we're building. Updates on exchange relations, liquidity, and the roadmap are on the Secret Governance Forum.
