On June 14 1941, the Soviet Union launched large scales mass deportations across the Baltic states, approximately 40,000 Lithuanians, 17,500 Latvians and 15,000 Estonians were deported from their homelands to settlements and gulag labor camps in Siberia and Central Asia, many of these being children separated from their families.
They were replaced with Russian speakers and the Sovietization of the Baltics, still to this day, there is large Russian ghettos and slums in the baltics with context to these policies.
Never forgive - never forget!
