Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali is inviting applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF-funded project.
🔬 Research Project:
Computational Design of 2D Materials and Their Interfaces for a High Out-of-Plane Piezoelectricity
📅 Interview: 10 September 2026
📍 Venue: Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Knowledge City, Sector 81, SAS Nagar, Mohali–140306, Punjab
🎓 Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. in Physics OR M.Tech. in Materials Science/Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, with selection through any of the specified national-level examinations such as CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship), GATE, JEST, or other qualifying national examinations mentioned in the advertisement.
💻 Desirable: Experience in scientific computing, nanoscience and nanotechnology.
🎂 Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 10 September 2026 (relaxation as per Government of India rules).
💰 Fellowship: ₹37,000/month + HRA (as applicable)
⏳ Duration: 6 months, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
