We have eruptions of crisis in all directions, and we are in a very difficult situation, especially here in Egypt.

To cut the story short, we are living in a very, very volatile region, and it's unpredictable, especially after the war on Iran.

We've been affected very, very negatively with the escalation.

It's a perfect storm coming from all strategic directions and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the interruption of the navigation there and also the impact on the Suez Canal and the surging of the prices of oil and grain.

The Israelis are not allowing caravans to enter. They are not even allowing tents to enter.

We are in close contact with the Americans, and we are counting on the leadership of President Trump.

President Trump, he's a man of peace, and he delivered before, not only in the region, but in different areas. We are counting on his leadership in order to move forward with regard to the implementation of his own plan.

We call it the Trump peace plan.

We will not allow Palestinians to be pushed into the Sinai.

We have different channels with the Israelis on the military intelligence, on the political level, and we are communicating with them.

Our clear-cut and crystal-clear position is conveyed to the Israelis and to the Americans.

We will not allow this to happen because it means the liquidation of the Palestinian cause. It will be ushering the end of the Palestinian cause. This is not an option.

This is a red line for us in Sudan: we will not allow the partition of Sudan.

The territorial unity and the integrity of Sudan are extremely important for us.

We will not allow Sudan to be divided, because if this happened, it would be divided into three or four Sudans, and that's not an option for us.

The problem with the current American administration is that it has created a doubt of whether Article 5 in NATO is still holding strong. And that is a problem.

During the negotiations between the US, Russia, and Ukraine, I definitely got the impression that Trump was more siding with Putin than with the actual democracies that were harassed and invaded.

What worries me is that this transactional approach in geopolitics, if it means that he can strike off a deal with China that leaves Taiwan defenseless, then it's the hard power behind the Western civilization that's going to fall.

I respect the Trump administration for saying that Europe needs to pay more and do more themselves. It's in the interest of us all.

But threatening a loyal ally like Denmark... We participated in the Iraq War and in Afghanistan.

Every time the American has called for help since the Second World War, we showed up because we know that we owe the Americans so much.

It's thanks to the Americans that the whole of Europe is not communist today, even though we almost are.

The way President Trump acts and makes the U.S. a less reliable partner has also motivated us to rebuild our military.
