His Majesty King Harald V of Norway has passed away at the age of 89. Rest in peace 🕊

"It is with great sorrow that my family and I have received the news that our dear friend, King Harald, has passed away.
Throughout all these years, the King has been a good friend to me, my family, and Sweden. Both as head of state and as a successful athlete, King Harald was an outstanding representative of his country. He gave 'alt for Norge' (Everything for Norway).
I wish my dear godson Haakon, who now succeeds his father as King of Norway, every happiness and success in his future work for our brotherland and people."
