The Indian Army has announced the start of Op Sindoor 2, indicating a much higher level of military preparedness along the western front. Speaking on the matter, Lt Gen Rajesh Pushhkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army’s 2 Corps, said that the earlier Op Sindoor involved limited action against Pakistan, which forced Pakistan to contact India within four days to seek de-escalation. Lt Gen Pushhkar stated that Op Sindoor 2 is far more extensive in scale. While operational details remain confidential, he emphasized that the Indian Army is fully prepared to respond through air, land, and sea if required. The statement reflects India’s strong defence readiness and deterrence posture. @joint @beautifulbharat
