Now accepting fellowship applications and general registration for the 25th International Vaccinology Course
The International Vaccine Institute (IVI) proudly presents the 25th edition of its International Vaccinology Course. This flagship training program aims to build knowledge, practical skills, and professional connections in vaccine science and development. Through lectures, quizzes, case studies, networking opportunities, and site visits, the course provides vaccine professionals and students an immersive training experience. Faculty members include world-renowned experts across immunology, vaccine development, epidemiology, communication, and related fields.
The 25th International Vaccinology Course will take place at three locations: IVI headquarters in Seoul, Republic of Korea; Kigali, Rwanda, co-hosted by the University of Rwanda; and Stockholm, Sweden, co-hosted by Karolinska Institutet, from 31 August to 4 September 2026.
We invite researchers from around the world who are working, studying, or conducting research in fields related to vaccinology to apply for a fellowship or register for the course at one of these locations.
Apply for an IVI Vaccinology Fellowship
The IVI Vaccinology Fellowship is open to researchers from low- and middle-income countries who are working, studying, or conducting research in vaccinology. The fellowship provides financial support to attend the course—including the course fee, travel, accommodation, and meals—for selected researchers who demonstrate leadership potential in public health in their home countries and current workplaces.
Only complete fellowship applications submitted through the online form during the application period, 14 April – 24 May 2026, will be considered.

General registration for the International Vaccinology Course will remain open 14 April – 31 July 2026
We invite researchers from around the world who are working, studying, or conducting research in vaccinology to register for the course. We recommend that registrants have a background in vaccines, biotechnology, public health, or a related field and professional proficiency in English. Lectures will be broadcast across the Seoul, Kigali, and Stockholm training sites to create a shared learning experience, and participants will also engage in site-specific activities and local field trips. We strongly encourage registrants to select the site closest to them.
