The Ministry of Education has announced that students who scored between 297 - 300 have passed and will proceed directly to university placement.

Expected Cut-Off Score for the Remedial Program
In a phone conversation with a student news reporter, Ato Eyob (Ministry of Education official) indicated that the cut-off score for entering the Remedial Program is expected to be above 38% (>228 out of 600).l
Remedial Cut Off Score History (Past Two Years):
🛜 2016 E.C. (2023/24 G.C.): 34% (204/600) — For both Natural & Social Science male students.
🛜 2017 E.C. (2024/25 G.C.): 36% (216/600) — For both Natural & Social Science female students.
📌 Note to Students:
👉 The exact official entry score for this academic year will be determined and announced officially by the Ministry of Education soon. Students are advised to await the formal statement.
