*New Feature launch*:
BUY/SELL button on Desktop charts
Available on: Delta India and on Perpetuals, Options & Straddle
Primary Use cases:
- One-click trading from chart directly
- Place trades on ‘fullscreen view’ and ’open in new tab’ views
Prerequisite: Ensure “Buy/sell buttons” is checked from the TradingView setting section (available top right corner of chart). This feature will be checked by default when the feature goes live (instant order placement will also be checked).
*How to use the feature:*
- On ‘Trade page’
- Clicking on the Buy/Sell button will lead to placing a market order on the contract. It will be one-click trading & no confirmation pop-up will be coming.
- Users will be able to enter the Qty (in lots) by clicking on the Qty field available between the Buy & Sell Button. The Qty stays remembered until changed again.
- If Instant order placement is unchecked from trading viewsettings then on trade page users will not be able to change the Qty from the Buy/Sell button on the chart.
- On ‘Fullscreen View’ & ‘Open in new tab’
- If instant order placement is checked and the BUY/SELL button is clicked, a similar experience like that on the Trade page will be available and orders will get placed directly.
- However, if instant order placement is not checked and the BUY/SELL button on charts is clicked, the order placing form will open along with the order confirmation pop-up. This order placing form will have Limit, Market & Maker Only order types. All other functionalities of the order form continue to exist.
- The top right corner of the order placing form also has an order book icon which will open the order book for viewing the bids/offers of the contract.
- On ‘Multichart’ view
The feature will behave same as the above depending on multichart is being viewed on Trade Page or FullScreen View/Open in new tab
