Apparently there are those posing as “Mashayikh,” who like to self praise themselves from burner accounts, or fake “student” accounts, as well as put out fake AI images and posters of themselves. The sickness of Riyā rots one’s very core. On top of that, when you realize such people will do anything for a scrap of attention, including but not limited to fake being jailed and taken by the Tawagheet — in order to increase their own “legend” or get certain accounts to write a post about them. You’d be surprised that such people even run “da’wah” accounts, indirectly raise funds for themselves via gofundme by referring to themselves in the 3rd person (e.g., A brother from the Caucasus is in financial strain).
These individuals think they’re clever, by targeting the Mashayikh slyly from behind the scenes accusing them of Ghulu — and this will be dealt with explicitly if they ever find themselves stupid enough to attempt such a move publicly — while they are brazenly and shamelessly sharing the likes of “Amir Bahjat” for example, who considers the Tawagheet of Āl Salūl to be legitimate.
Such people will go to great lengths to certify themselves. For example they will create a Da’wah page of one of the Mashāyikh in Arabic, translating their posts or quotes in order to amass followers, and then once he’s done that, he begins to shares his own posts or posts about himself self-glazing, in order to give off the impression to the people that the Admin of the Shaykh’s page is certifying him, even though it’s just him.
This is without even mentioning the constant and wild stories people have shared to me about this infant con-artist, in order to gain legitimacy amongst brothers, or the numerous brothers who have had peculiar run ins with their country’s Tawagheet, due to him informing, or attempting to entrap them.
Stay far away from such filthy individuals. Unfortunately for such people, “faking it till you make it” with The Deen of Allah, doesn’t work, and such people are always exposed by Allah. I ask Allah to hasten their demise, as well as destroy their plots and plans to harm the Muslims.
