علي: كيف استعددت للعيد هذا العام؟
Omar: I bought new clothes, helped my family clean the house, and we prepared lots of sweets.
عمر: اشتريت ملابس جديدة، وساعدت عائلتي في تنظيف المنزل، وقمنا بتحضير الكثير من الحلويات.
Ali: That sounds great. My family also prepared traditional food for guests.
علي: هذا رائع. عائلتي أيضًا حضرت أكلات تقليدية للضيوف.
Omar: What do you usually do on the first day of Eid?
عمر: ماذا تفعل عادةً في أول يوم من العيد؟
Ali: I wake up early, take a shower, wear my best clothes, and go to the Eid prayer.
علي: أستيقظ مبكرًا، أستحم، أرتدي أفضل ملابسي، وأذهب إلى صلاة العيد.
Omar: Me too. After the prayer, we greet everyone and say “Eid Mubarak.”
عمر: وأنا كذلك. بعد الصلاة نُسلم على الجميع ونقول "عيد مبارك".
Ali: Then we visit our relatives, starting with the eldest in the family.
علي: ثم نزور أقاربنا، ونبدأ بكبار العائلة.
Omar: Yes, respecting elders is an important part of our traditions.
عمر: نعم، احترام الكبار جزء مهم من تقاليدنا.
Ali: Do you give Eid money to children?
علي: هل تعطي العيديات للأطفال؟
Omar: Of course! It’s one of the best parts of Eid for them.
عمر: بالطبع! إنها من أفضل أجزاء العيد بالنسبة لهم.
Ali: I remember how happy I was when I used to receive Eid money.
علي: أتذكر كم كنت سعيدًا عندما كنت أستلم العيدية.
