Iran's IRGC Navy said it captured a US unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz early this morning.

IRGC Navy says it was "one of the most modern intelligent unmanned submarines" delivered to the US Navy in 2025, seized in a "complex intelligence and operational" action.

CENTCOM Spokesperson says the drone malfunctioned more than a day before Iran's announcement, was an "older model," and carried no classified sensors or sensitive data.
